Arrive in Zakopane – a beautiful resort village nestled in the Tatra Mountains region. Originally a seventeenth-century forestry settlement, Zakopane is now a sprawling town, close to the Slovak border at the edge of the Tatra Mountains National Park.
Later, you will visit Chocholow, a village comprised almost exclusively of the heritage Polish wooden houses built by the Highlanders.
You will celebrate the Holy Mass in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Krzeptowki – the place for the Virgin Mary’s cult, that is closely related to John Paul II.
After the Holy Mass, you will visit the Old Town of Zakopane.
You will enjoy the stunning panorama of Tatra Mountains during the funicular ride to Gubalowka hill – a mountain above the town of Zakopane and a popular tourist attraction, offering views of the mountains across the valley below.
Later visit a local market famous for woodcraft, leather and other souvenirs.
You will also see Srednia Krokiew ski jumping hill.
On the way back you will relax and rejuvenate at the thermal hot spring complex which offers five pools and a Jacuzzi.
