Can I combine two or more tours?

Can I arrive earlier than the scheduled tour or extend my stay?

Absolutely! If you would like to spend more time on your own before or even after your tour, we’ll be glad to arrange it for you. Please coordinate with our Tour Consultant before your final payment as additional costs may apply.

Where can I get information before my tour?
We will send you an information pack to help you prepare. These include the hotel contact number and address, the itinerary, the things you might need to bring, instructions for pick up, our contact numbers and details of your payment.
Can I customize a tour?
You can absolutely customize your tour to your preferences. We would love to present you with just the kind of holiday that you would like in order to have a cherished and memorable experience!
Do I need to be Catholic or religious to participate in the European tours?
We believe that a great balance of pilgrimage and holiday combined with gastronomical experience will allow you to have a complete experience and rejuvenate your body and soul. Although our European tours are the combination of pilgrimage and holiday, people from other faiths are also very welcome to participate. There is no obligation to join Catholic activities such as mass and prayers.

How many are we in a group?

Group size gerally ranges between 6 – 12 people for published dates. Group size may also vary for customized tours. Please contact us for customized tours.

Do I need to join the group all the time?
This is your tour. If you prefer to spend your time doing something different during guided tour, it is definitely fine. We would like you to enjoy. However, please see to it that you meet up with the group in time for any transfers between cities or countries.
I am travelling with my family, can we have a special tour?
Travelling with family is the best way to strengthen your tie and create lasting memories. We’ll be happy to create a customized tour for your family. Please contact us for more details.
Will I have free time to explore on my own?

Absolutely! You will have free time to explore on your own, do your souvenir shopping and take more photos to document your journey.


What kind of hotel will I stay?
All accommodations for each tour we have are hand-picked by us and we have tried to give you the best experience possible. We work with beautiful, comfortable accommodations with en-suite bathrooms. Rooms will however vary depending on the tour and the destination.
If I travel solo, do I have to pay single supplement?
It would be great if you can find a roommate (of the same gender) for any tour. However, you can always place a request with us to find you a roommate. On some occasion that roommate is not available, you will be required to pay single supplement fee. We will let you know if roommate is available at least 25 days before your departure.


I have a special meal requirement, will I be catered?
We aim to provide not just a wonderful spiritual pilgrimage and holiday but also a gastronomical experience. Food allergies or dietary restriction shouldn’t keep you from seeing the world and have a gastronomical experience. Please notify us at least seven days for any food allergies or dietary restriction and our Tour Manager will provide you options.


What type of currency should I bring? Where can I change currency?
In most of our tours, all major credit cards are accepted. You can also use the ATMs with either your credit or debit card. Please note that bank charges may apply. You can bring your local currency. However, US Dollars are most widely used and accepted foreign currency. We can assist you in changing currency on your arrival if you need.
Are tips included?
Tips or gratuities are not included in the price unless specified. Tips around $50 / £30 per person (depending on how long the tour) will be collected for the tour guide, motor-coach driver and restaurant staff.
Are flights included?
Flights are not included in our package. Even though we don’t do flight, we can assist you to find some good deals. However, you need to book it on your own.
Do I need electrical adapters?

Electrical outlets in different countries vary. You may need to bring an electrical adapter for your electronics. You may check this website to see the type of electrical outlet used for different countries. 

Do you have a referral program?

You can earn discounts for every referral. Please check our Referral Program page or you may contact us to get the information.


How can I pay for the tours?

For UK clients, payments can be made through our UK bank account. For US clients and from other countries, payment can be done via Paypal or wire transfer. Clients are requested to cover bank transfer fee s (if any) so as to ensure that the whole amount of payment reaches DLI Travel’s bank account without any deductions.

What is my payment schedule?

Your payment schedule is flexible. We will only require a deposit for the tour. You can pay the rest of the balance at your own schedule. Just take note that the final payment is due at least 30 days prior to departure for most tours.


Does DLI Travel accommodate physically challenged travelers?

We encourage everyone to travel and explore the world. We also cater for physically challenged travelers. We would like you to enjoy and see as much as you can for every tour. However, there some sites that are not accessible to everyone. Please contact our Tour Consultant about any physical disabilities or limitations and we will help you choose the best itinerary. If you require a dedicated assistance, we suggest for you to travel with a companion who can help out.


Do I need travel insurance?

Insurance is not included in our package. We would recommend for you to arrange your own.

Do I need visa?

Visa is not needed for the European tours if you are an American or British citizen. Clients not holding a US or UK passport must check with the country (or countries) to which you are traveling and check if visa is required. Obtaining a VISA is SOLELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. We can send you the necessary document as a travel company if your embassy will require.
