Gratitude. We all know this concept – it’s quite old, though. Gratitude can definitely help us to see the beauty in our life, and find happiness when we’re feeling unhappy.

It’s scientifically proven that gratitude improves psychological and physical health, strengthens relationships, and it even helps you sleep better! (read more)

“We all have the ability and opportunity to cultivate gratitude. Simply take a few moments to focus on all that you have – rather than complain about all the things you think you deserve. Developing an “attitude of gratitude” is one of the simplest ways to improve your satisfaction with life”.

Yes, I presume, you’ve probably heard all those reasons why you should add more gratitude to your life. Also, I know that you know you should do it, and you want to do it but probably you still struggle to make it actually happen. But you’re here. I don’t think you’re reading this post only to relieve the boredom (but if you do, go on!) but you want to change something in your life.

You want to see more beautiful things that surround you.
You want to become happier (or happy).
You want to develop your soul.

Good start, I must say. Even better, if you will follow the 21 days Gratitude Challenge.

So… What is this all about?

First of all, I have to be sure that you know exactly what is gratitude because gratitude is about appreciating what you already have. You have an option to be grateful or not. Everything else depends on what you choose.

Now I will sound a bit dramatic… Have you ever wondered (at least once) that things like having food on the table, having legs to walk, having an opportunity to wear nice clothes, being healthy – are the only things that someone else is praying for?

Being thankful is not always experienced as a natural state of existence, so you should learn it.

Let’s try with more simple questions.

  • When was the last time you admired a sunset?
  • You complimented a stranger?
  • You smiled at the random people, just like that?
  • When did you look in the mirror and pointed at least 5 good things about yourself?
  • How often you say to your beloved the words of appreciation?

If you’re quite not sure about the answers… Then you should definitely try my 21 Days Gratitude Challenge. C’mon, it’s only 21 days and if after that you won’t feel the difference… Well, feel free to write a complaint – I will face it*. But I’m sure, quickly you will find out that you’re way happier when you’re paying attention to the little things you love about your life.
